Rimmerworld patch is committed to master, and I have time today, so I
tagged/rolled 5.6.1. Here it is:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/zsh/files/zsh-dev/5.6.1/

Let's give it a few days and then announce it, shall we? (That's why I
uploaded it only to zsh-dev)

If release blocker bugs are found then we won't announce 5.6.1; we'll
fix the bugs on master and release a 5.6.2.

Cheers,

Daniel

I've copied the files I found in zsh-dev to www.zsh.org/pub.

I can't find your announcement --- you may only have sent it to Samsung --- but I'm
not sure I need to send it do I? Is the zsh-announce list as well as being moderated
(all mail from anyone needs approval) limited in terms of posters?

As far as I know anyone can send mail to it. It just won't get
forwarded until moderated.

Correct.

Well, my first post to that list didn't get approved, so my announcement
of 5.6.1 _will_ require manual approval regardless of how the list is
set up.

I have now sent the announcement now to zsh-announce@ with a bcc to you
personally at this address.

Do you have read access to the ezmlm home directory? The mailing list
configuration (including moderation settings and moderators identities) is
stored there.

Cheers,

Daniel

I got the approval message, as well as Bart, so it looks like Geoff
managed to update my email, and pws@zsh.org should work again.

No, we have no direct access there.
