In the manuals said the Acme's file system root mounted on /mnt/acme. I
opened two 8.5's windows, in one stared acme - expected to see
/mnt/acme/index, /mnt/acme/new and so on... Didn't see abything below
/mnt/acme. Namespace issue? Tried from acme itself and from other
window. Why not?

Thanks,
Artem.

you won't see the /mnt/acme contents in another 8.5
window because name spaces are distinct between windows.

on the other hand, ls /mnt/acme produces something sensible when executed
in those Acme contexts i've tried: button-2 exec of `ls /mnt/acme'
typed at the top of the Acme window, exec of ls /mnt/acme
in the tag of an arbitrary Acme frame, and creating a
window with win (/acme/bin/win) and typing
ls /mnt/acme in it.
