the one ide port has been found. device sdD0.
(secondary port 0x170, primary device A0)
but you are not given the option of booting from sdD0.
a quick drive-by of the code suggests that the error
register has some junk in it. i would almost bet
this means that the media change bit has been set.

i'll try to get a bootable cd for you to try later today.

I could try to boot it from qemu and prepare a bootable cd from myself
if you suggest me main steps to do it, or if you could do both this I would
appreciate :)

thank you very much

try this but nothing happens. Always 'boot from:' prompt reply.

This is what I see at boot time (using 9atom.iso in my travelmate 4650)

PBS1...Plan9 from Bell Labs
ELCR: 0C20
pcirouting: South Bridge 8086, 2641 not found
dev A0 port 170 config 045A capabilities 2B00 mwdma 0007 udm6 203F
eoepnp(<nil>)
found 6 e820 entries
bood devices: fw0
boot from:

if write sdC0!cdboot!9pccd.gz (or C1 or D0 or D1 or anithing [A-F][0-1]) the
reply is 'boot from: ' and no boot nor errors or anithing else.
Should I write something particular to load kernel (tried boot or similar)?

thanks in advance.

bye

the drives are on the legacy ports, so
you want sd[CD][01]!cdboot!9pccd.gz
i'm sorry i can't tell you which one from
the kernel output.

Hi all,
I'm tring to bootstrap plan9 iso (plan9.iso and 9atom.iso) on my
laptop but... nothing to do.

At prompt 'boot from:' I've tried some:

sd<X><N>!cdboot!plan9.ini <return>

at return nothing happens and 'boot from:' is here anymore (no errors nor
warning, nothing but 'boot from:').

I've sdA0 or 1 sdB0 or 1 sdC0 or 1 sdD0 or 1 sdE0 or 1 sdF0 or 1.

Next is my dmesg and lspci (got with a knoppix linux), as main system I've
OpenBSD.

Thank you in advance.
