[9fans] 9con cancelled/remodelled

We have changed plans and the 9con is cancelled. Instead we are trying
to organize  a workshop.

We are planning for 4th and 6th of December 2006. We will announce
it as soon as we have everything tied. Send any articles related to
Plan 9 you have!!!.
Suggestions are welcomed.

Our main motivation was to spend the effort into something
that could be more rewarding. We hope we could learn things
by attending to presentations made by anyone that has done,
or is doing any interesting thing with Plan 9, or related to it;
and by discussing such things.
AFAIK, according to what can be read in 9fans,
there are many such things, and it would be great to be able
to learn from it all.

Some formal organization/revisión.

So that we have some time for the formal procedures of going through a
revision and try to get some money for proceedings and bringing interesting
people. Most of the things require time and cannot be done with such a short
margin.

There will be a formal call for papers soon, but use your imagination.
