Just forgot to tell you :

It crashes 2 (two) times, so that at least 3 mk are needed.

BTW, now Perl works.

TX to all.

Have you run plan9/setup.rc?
It creates new directory tree at, say, /sys/src/cmd/perl/<version_number>,
and then you can mk perl without problem under the new direc\tory tree.
I've gotten the source of 5.004_05 from CPAN.

Kenji--haven't tried the perl yet though :-)

I've built perl 5.004_05 on Plan 9 without any problems.

http://plan9.bell-labs.com/~rsc/perl.tar.gz

has many of the relevant files, hopefully all.

Hi all,

Just tried to install Perl 5.004_05 on May 27 distrib of Plan9 but with no success.
Unfortunately, the related litterature ages from 2000...

Does anyone have a more `recent / accurate' experience with Perl ?
