from vitanuova.com, but don´t reply me. Anyone have got a idea, where
i will find this manual? greetings

(according to Google).

You can print the documentation set though yourself, at is apparently 
consists of the Plan9 papers and manual pages, both available as PDF on 
the Web Site.

You can generate the PDFs from the troff sources. The printed manual
is very old, albeit very nice to have as a historical artifact.

The major benefit of the Vita Nuova manuals is the beautiful cover,
but I believe their content weren't updated since the release of the
fourth edition or so. A nice collector's item, anyway.

Last time I diff'd the manuals things hadn't changed all that much (compared
say to the Inferno ones which were hopelessly out of date), and
it's good to browse a book, but dealing with the shipping differences was
a pain with the other suppliers. Also, Google Checkout had this nice little
micro-format
system that was really worthwhile. Amazon Payments had one set of problems,
and Paypal had another, so it didn't seem worthwhile. It wouldn't be
outlandishly hard
so if there really is some interest I might find time to do it.

I don't see why. It's not ... fun.

Also, more realistically, now I use a Nexus 10 for my documents and books,
with a few exceptions, and I'd assumed more and more people did the same.
That way the material is also never too far out of date.

That's a coincidence, when I saw Charles's email I immediately thought of
Lulu and was just browsing the site when Joe's message arrived. I've used

Using Lulu, it might also be easy to keep the manual update to date,
on a regular basis.

Since I like bookbinding I did one by my self:

I replaced some white pages with other ones (copyright, etc.) to fit in
1024 pages so that the printed book is made of 32×32-pages A5 booklets.

That's the kind of work that makes you love the book further more! ;-)

No I didn't, though that is possible (and marginally planned) thanks to
the two ribbons.  Hardcover is another important step and I only did
paperback covers for a few other books.  I need some training!

That last is truer than you know. Still, the real reason here is that I'm
checking the Social/Forum
sections of gmail only infrequently because I've been fairly busy and I
find it a bit distracting.
