Right. You're going to have to use the Git Emacs checkout.

That shouldn't matter for the gnus-cloud work, but I don't know if the
EPA/EPG tools work well there. You may have to change
`gnus-cloud-storage-method' which defaults to 'epg if EPA/EPG is loaded:

gnus-cloud-storage-method is a variable defined in ‘gnus-cloud.el’.
Its value is ‘epg’

If you have gzip available, set it to Base64+gzip. Otherwise just Base64
should be enough.
