It's intention is to be a (non-scalable) news server for small sites
that requires /no/ maintenance. It lives up to that.

Possibly. If it does expiry, posting and provides a simple interface to
group selection, it's doing what leafnode does without the NNTP protocol
between 'em. :)

There isn't any needed, really. Not in my experience, anyway.

If what you have works, stick with it. Change for the sake of change is
not that helpful.
