Good day -

I made the mistake of opening my corporate
email IMAP MS-365 mailbox with Apple Mail on Mac OS X -
 (I wish I had not!).

Now, when I open the IMAP Inbox summary with
GNUS' '*Group*'->'INBOX', I am only seeing
 the 'Unread' messages.

Browsing the same IMAP account with MS-365's
Web Outlook shows the messages are still in
the Inbox, but I cannot read them with GNUS -
 they are not displayed :-(

How can I tell GNUS to show ALL messages in the
Inbox, regardless of whether they are 'Read' or
 not ?

I thought this was the way GNUS worked, it used to just
display read and unread messages in different colors, but since
mistakenly reading the IMAP account with Apple Mail,
all the read messages seem to be marked with something
that is causing GNUs to ignore them and not include them
 in the Inbox Summary buffer.

Please, how can I recover display of ALL messages in
the IMAP Inbox with GNUS, regardless of any message markers ?

 This is urgent.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank You & Best Regards,
Jason Vas Dias

That is how Gnus usually works.

When you have the group open, you can type / o to get prompted for how
many old messages you want to have displayed (added to the view).

You can mark messages as unread with M-u to have them appear when you
enter the group.

(Or you can tick them with !, then they also get displayed
automatically).

In the *Summary* buffer you can use C-u SPACE or C-u RET to enter a
group, then you get prompted for how many messages to show, instead of
just the unread ones.

Finally you can configure Gnus to display read messages, using the group- or
topic-parameter "display":

That's not how Gnus works by default, but maybe you have configured
something?

  Best regards,
