Moving Articles from Exchange Server Does not Delete Them

Hello,

I have a few difficulties with an Exchange server at work. 
The most annoying thing is that when I move an article to another server 
(with B-m) usually the messages are moved (though very often there is an imap
server error), but the messages are essentially never deleted from the Exchange
server. There is no error produced, just that upon next mail check the messages
are still there and I have manually delete them with B-delete. 

Also, I am noticing that marking messages for expire (with E) is not actually
labeling the messages with gnus-expire on the Exchange server.

There are many other difficulties, largely to do with imap errors, but I won't
get into those right now.

Hm.  Could you look into the "*imap log*" buffer and post the bits
relevant when you're doing a `B-m'?

Well, thus far I cannot even get it to move the mail in noGnus 15. It fails 
with 
'SIGPIPE raised on process *nnimap*<1>; closed it'

Is this fixed now? I seem to be seeing some expire marks, at least in Gnus.

Sure looked like it did on the log, but not in Gnus. Perhaps it is a checking 
issue on the current status in the server. I usually do a M-g on the Inbox to 
ensure that it has been updated. In this case the mail was still present. I'll 
keep looking and see if it has been fixed??

If Gnus sent a \Delete and an EXPUNGE to the server, and the article is
still on the server, then it can't be a Gnus issue.

OK. So the server is not doing what GNUS tells it to do. The messages are still 
not gone despite the \Delete and EXPUNGE command.

Yes, something is up with the exchange server. In Claws-mail it will mark them 
as having been acted upon, but they are actually not deleted either, despite a 
call to delete them. To actually get them deleted it requires opening another 
mailbox and then Claws asks if I want the marked articles processed. Then they 
are gone.

then moving them to the 'Jobs' mailbox on another server, then being asked to 
process the marks when I try to open 'Jobs':

So it just sets the \Deleted flag and issues an EXPUNGE, while Gnus does

So perhaps EXCHANGE doesn't understand UID EXPUNGE, even though it says
it supports UIDPLUS?  Could you check that?
