downloading articles into the agent, and says:
'SIGPIPE raised on process nntpd; closed it'
The last few lines of the *Messages* buffer are:
Fetching articles for gnu.emacs.gnus...
Fetching headers for gnu.emacs.help...
Fetching articles for gnu.emacs.help...
SIGPIPE raised on process nntpd; closed it
What's that?
(Gnus 5.6.43 Emacs 20.2 Linux)

Good question. Is that an Emacs error message, or does it come from the nntp server? -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) larsi@gnus.org * Lars Magne Ingebrigtsen ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 4+ messages in thread

Thank you, Lars (and sorry for replying to the wrong adress, last time) Couldn't find anything (whether in Emacs 20.2 nor in Gnus 5.6.43) I will set debug-on-error until it happens next time... Oh, it's with Emacs 20.2? Upgrade. Emacs 20.2 doesn't work. -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.) larsi@gnus.org * Lars Magne Ingebrigtsen ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 4+ messages in thread
