Gnus-5.6.23 Bug?

[Danny Siu]

I got "Signaling: (args-out-of-range #<buffer "*Summary nnfolder:GNUS*"> 0
1)" whenever I enter my GNUS nnfolder mail group.  The backtrace is
attached.  5.6.9 works fine without this problem.

I think the problem is that gnus-thread-sort-by-date doesn't like the
pseudo-articles Gnus produces when building sparse threads.  At any
rate, when I reported it to Lars a few days ago, he told me to expect
a fix in 5.6.24.  (I *like* the way he sorts bug reports. :-))

Yup.  Fix in Gnus v5.6.24.

The problem is in the code that makes sparse threads.  For now, I'd
recommend switching that off.
