Some versions of url are somewhat finicky when it comes to working
outside of w3, which is why `mm-url-insert-file-contents' is the way
it is.
Anyway, babel.el looks pretty interesting -- I had forgotten that I
had it here. Does a newer version exist? I could put it in the
gnus/contrib directory so that it can be given a wider testing...
