This is so sad :(.  It doesn't sound like your arrangement is worth
the likely frustration.

I can't imagine GNUs ever being as smooth as Mulberry is, and I can't
imagine enjoying the UI design of Mulberry the way I do GNUs.  If only
I could just use emacs as a back-end for the Mulberry core!

Ah, well, I guess I can dream...
