There is a new pull request by zdtcd against master on the void-packages repository
https://github.com/zdtcd/void-packages pass
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/15483
pass: support wayland wl-clipboard
I could only test with Xorg, the support for wl-clipboard couldn't be tested since I don't use wayland
A patch file from https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/15483.patch is attached

New comment by zdtcd on void-packages repository
https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/15483#issuecomment-542157021
Comment:
Anyway, I'm not sure if `xclip` should be removed from `depends`.
since it is optional dependency, and `pass` on wayland will requires different package for clipboard support.
