usb ends in tears because the vendors are quite happy to
send undocumented stuff to undocumented ports. and it's
fine 'cause they have a windows driver for it.
dhog spend some lazy time trying to decypher an audio
device of mine (either the extigy or the sound canvas).
yes - he wrote a lot of code to get thru the tree, and
scribbled a diagram for me - had to cram to fit it on
a page. lots of undocumented ports in the storm.
so i still run usb devices off a windows box and inferno
serves me the multimedia crap that i have no idea how
to get out of the device.
i'm glad that there is p9 support for the standard usb
stuff, mouse - kbd - massstore; and encourage it.
it makes video card support look easy?
