are most of you running your auth servers stand alone(kfs)
or are you booting them from floppy and getting system files
via a file server?

Our auth server boots off a small 9fat disk partition and then
gets root from the fileserver.

I run a CPU server and a separate file server running 2nd edition,
and a CPU server and a separate file server running 3rd.
Each edition is running it's own AS but I've only got a half dozen
accounts and I'm the only user of the 2nd edition file systems.
I can mount the old bootes from 3rd edition since my password
is the same on both systems!
