Hello,

I made the LablGtk2-Ocaml-Tutorial,
initially written by SooHyoung Oh,
available on github.

I already corrected some of the links, which pointed to nirvana,
to point to the official laglgtk-docs.
Some more changes will follow, so that the other links to the lablgtk-API-docs
also will work.

The tutorial is available here:
   https://github.com/klartext/lablgtk2-ocaml-Tutorial

Ciao,
    Oliver

I just cloned it. Is the source for the html files lying around somewhere?

If not, should I just correct/enhance the html files?

I think it's worth converting to markdown (hopefully pandoc should be able
to do this) and then making changes to the markdown. I'll do this tonight
if no one sends in a pull request for it first.

I won't interfere

The source is marked <meta name="GENERATOR" content="Modular DocBook HTML Stylesheet
Version 1.7">
so my guess is conversion will work well.

I'm just at the moment changing the html-stuff.
Changing the wrong links.
Not sure how far I get it done this night.
But I figured out, what needs to be changed.

The original sources are quite terrble formatted...
...links were mentioned some weeks ago on this list.

Waht's missing, is the images.

if someone has a download of the tutorial with the images,
providing the would be nice.

Ciao,
    Oliver

...there are much broken links in the original.
So, converting to a different format does not help at this point.
Can be done later, if wanted...

...ah, well.
Didn't noticed DocBook...

So the html looked so bad, because it was generated...

Did the conversion work?

I changed the links directly in the html-files.
Broken links now should be all corrected.

Will conversion work with that changed html?!

images still missing.

Ciao,
    Oliver

I gave pandoc a quick try, and it does a very nice job. It's not even worth
my sending in a pull request; all I had to do was pandoc -f html -t
markdown infile > outfile. pandoc will also produce docbook output, but
markdown seemed nicer to work with.

Hi,

I could create some of the images from the sourcecode with screenshots.
Some other maybe later, when compilation does not fail for them...

Ciao,
