Hi,

I have a problem with some rather "interesting" Date-Header from a
friend's mail (I x'ed-out his address):

,----[ C-u g on the mail ]
| [...]
| Date: Mon,
| 25 Feb 2002 11:23:58 +0100 (=?UNKNOWN?Q?Westeurop=E4ische?= Normalzeit)
| From: Kolja XXXXX <XXXX>
| Subject: AW: Herzlichen =?iso-8859-1?q?Gl=FCckwunsch!?=
| To: Mark Trettin <Mark.Trettin@gmx.de>
| [...]
`----

displays as

,----
| Subject: AW: Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
| From: Kolja XXXXX <XXXX>
| Date: Mon, (from Oort)
| To: Mark Trettin <Mark.Trettin@gmx.de>
| Date: Mon, (from Oort)
`----

I suppose the Problem is the linebreaking after the "Mon, " since I
tried out a couple versions:

,----[ does not work ]
| Date: Mon,
| 25 Feb 2002 11:23:58 +0100 (=?UNKNOWN?Q?Westeurop=E4ische?= Normalzeit)
| Date: Mon,
| 25 Feb 2002 11:23:58 +0100 =?iso-8859-1?q?(Westeurop=E4ische?= Normalzeit)
`----

,----[ works ]
| Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2002 11:23:58 +0100 (=?UNKNOWN?Q?Westeurop=E4ische?=
| Normalzeit)
| Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2002 11:23:58 +0100 =?iso-8859-1?q?(Westeurop=E4ische?=
| Normalzeit)
`----

the latter versions both display correct (or is it correctly?) like
this:

,----
| Subject: AW: Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
| From: Kolja XXXXX <XXXX>
| Date: Mon, Feb 25 2002 11:23:58 CET
| To: Mark Trettin <Mark.Trettin@gmx.de>
| X-Sent: 1 day, 1 hour, 48 minutes, 43 seconds ago
`----

So last but not least my question: Is there some solution to this
problem besides editing the mail manually?

BTW: "Westeuropäische Normalzeit" is a some stupid translation. The
local timezone is called "Mitteleuropäische Zeit" --> MEZ --> CET

Bye

I wonder whether that's a valid date...

This seems to have been fixed by now, but it's still not displaying
correctly. The Date header treatment thing is only deleting one
line, and doesn't do continuation lines. I'll fix that...
