gnus-draft.el is not even loaded, and the group appears ss if it were
an ordinary mail group.

How can I fix this?

C-k and restart? G p on the group should include (gnus-dummy
(gnus-draft-mode)). If you can reproduce how the group parameter is
lost, it would be good. Seems like people see this from time to time.

Thanks, C-k fixes it. I have no idea what has happened. It might be
an artifact remaining from a major confusion in which Gnus subscribed
all NNTP groups as nnml mail groups. 8-(

Maybe we should apply the following documentation patch, although it
is a bit embarrassing?

I tried to reword it to make it more general, so that the information
in the manual is useful even when the bug has been fixed. Now added,
thanks for suggesting it.
