Hi folks,

I regularly test oort gnus (now on 0.06) and I like a lot in
it. Especially the crypt integration and the speed improvements.

But two things hinder me in using it for my daily work when running
agentized:

1) I have my predicate set to true to sync all articles. But it
refuses to download my mail with 'J s'. I have to mark (most?)
articles manually for download. Maybe this is related to the new
   recent flags?
2) Deleted articles very often show up as unread in the summary
buffer. When I select them they are shown as deleted.

The first is annoying but can be wroked around, the second hinders
productivity heavily.

Greetings
		Christoph

I've been meaning to mention this for a while too, so FYI I see it as
well.

Oh, on that one you need to flush your agent cache. Run
(gnus-agent-expire) and it'll probably help things.

Huh, is this meant to be that way???

Greetings

Well, oort now defaults to caching things in the agent cache all the
time now. The problem is that they haven't tied together the normal
expiry process with the agent one. IMHO, they should be bound
together. Originally, if I remember correctly, Lars didn't trust the
agent expiry process at the time (it wasn't mature) so he didn't want
to force binding it. It's time, IMHO, to do so now though.

But the respective articles were not delete by expiry but by 'B
del'. So there should be no inconsistency...

Greetings

Hmm... B del is probably not deleting them from the agent cache, so I
think the expire process will still delete them there... sigh...

B del should really delete them from the agent cache too, you're
right. Hopefully someone will fix this.

You might try deleting the agent cache for your group by hand (look in
~/News/agent/METHOD/SERVER/ and remove the directory for that group).
