I seem to have a reliable way to reproduce the 201 problem. Attached
is one of François's recent mail.
[-- Attachment #2: 29640.gz --]
[-- Type: application/zip, Size: 1655 bytes --]
[-- Attachment #3: Type: text/plain, Size: 278 bytes --]
The last line contains his name in QP although there is no clue for it in
the headers (Maybe M$-exchange is doing something to the mail?).
It looks like this : Fran=C3=A7ois or Fran<equals>C3<equals>A7ois
Pressing Wq (gnus-article-de-quoted-unreadable) creates the following:
[-- Attachment #4: with201.txt.gz --]
[-- Type: application/zip, Size: 85 bytes --]
[-- Attachment #5: Type: text/plain, Size: 403 bytes --]
It looks like this: Fran\201Ã\201§ois or Fran<201><A-tilde><201><section>ois
Although the \201 are created, they are not saved. This is a bug
nevertheless.
My emacs-version is GNU Emacs 20.6.1 (i386-*-nt4.0.1381) The NT-Emacs
Pre-compiled version. I can't compile it over here.
Gnus v5.8.7 snapshot of May 17th.
Please let me know how can I proceed tracing the bug.
