Hmm.. I think it's a json file that shows you continuous updating of what
is playing on the station right this moment.

If we don't like the chattyness and undesired network activity, could we
default the xhr flag to off? Apparently you get the one manifestation of
working xhr, along with the other. Shut it off, and the menus don't flow
in in the first place. Turn it on and it's now very chatty and does
dynamic things you may not want.
