Do not forget Multics EMACS (1978), 
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multics_Emacs, written in Lisp by Bernie 
Greenberg, and the Lisp Machine emacsen, 
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EINE_and_ZWEI, by the late Dan Weinreb. I 
knew the authors of both of these well.
