For reasons unknown to me, the icecat tarball is at 60, while there is a separate branch for [icecat 68](https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnuzilla.git/log/?h=68).

I think void should switch to this branch unless there's a strong reason not to, due to all of the zero-day   vulnerabilities in firefox.

I cloned their repository and ran `./makeicecat` to create a tarball `icecat-68.6.1-gnu1.tar.bz2` which I put on [my distfiles servers](https://distfiles.voidlinux.de/icecat-68.6.1/icecat-68.6.1-gnu1.tar.bz2).

Now I'm trying to build it yet I don't see where I could get the `i18n` files from or how to generate them. I guess we need to get rid of the `*.xpi.sig` downloads and use `firefox-esr-i18n` files also for `icecat`, just in another location in the tree.

Closing, since this is fixed.

I guess the issue on how to deal with distfiles still remains, but I don't know how to fix it.

I tried to package the firefox-esr-i18n files for icecat-i18n. Perhaps you @travankor can find out and test if/how to use them or if we need to do anything else about it?

seems like revision 2 fixec it -- I guess the repo sync or build servers were not consistently up to date yesterday.
