...which seems a shame (and may be apocryphal).  I never minded
OpenFirmware/OpenBoot, and until the EFI Macs shipped I still had my
hopes up.  Maybe they couldn't find enough Forth programmers.  :)

Linus' rant and the unofficial (but informed) Intel response that
followed are worth a read.
