It will. But in a read-only, black-box way. My problem is that
I don't see how I can even inspect the namespace that it exports,
let alone manipulate it.

Now, I've asked the manipulation question in my reply to Russ,
so if you're interested in pursuing this topic -- lets do it
in that other part of the thread.

P.S. Don't get me wrong though: srvfs is a very useful tool, its
just that I'm asking a bit broader question than what it was designed
to answer.
