I think the system will stay alive as long as some of us use it.
Regarding drivers and the like, it's likely that we get them done as some of us
need them.

I'll try to help by proposing student projects along the lines suggested by
presotto. But wouldn't count on that too much, and right now I dont have the
time to pick up those tasks myself, sic.

I'm with you. Plan 9 apps on Unix will suffer from all the things that are
wrong with Unix. It's kind of like Eunice, for all you fogies out there.
