i get the impression there are also a good few drivers for
old things you wouldn't use anymore, including some
for which plan 9 had drivers but which have been declared
obsolete and aren't there any more. (i looked at the driver for one device
that i knew quite well. it was grim.) plan 9 eliminates
whole platforms from time to time.
