Hello,

is it possible to add a Reply-To Header-entry to the
mailinglist-mails?

This makes things easy. (Or maybe the problem is that
a lot of authors have own Reply-To fileds set,
and that the list-server does not replace them by
a list's Reply-to header-entry?)

Would be nice, if reply by default goes to the
list.

ThanX,
    Oliver

What's wrong with group-reply?

Ok, I have looked around a littlebid.

Group-Reply means answering to list AND via PM.
So this means sending the mail twice.

The correct solutions seems to be list-reply.
It's, what I have to configure (setting a list
of possible List-mailadresses, to match against,
when using mutt-mailer).

But, btw: many people have set their Reply-To-
Field in their Mailadress, and when a mail goes
to them at the privat-address, I often get
the question, if this was intended, or if the
answer should go to the list directly.
(why?)

Ciao,
   Oliver

Receipt:

1. Imagine the worst possible implementation of reply-to adding and
   enumerate all its disadvantages.

2. Do not mention anything about what useful is expected from reply-to
   adding.

3. Neglect that the ones that are annoyed by reply mistakes are not the
same than the ones that do reply mistakes.

4. Repeat step 1.

You get `"Reply-To" Munging Considered Harmful'.

There are a lot of good reasons to not use Reply-To, just because other
lists do it wrong, doesn't mean we have to:

I suspect you are in the minority.

  Some say it is harmful:

OK, if you think this makes sense?

In other mailinglists, they use Reply-To <listaddr>.

So, if I'm the only one who wants this,
I can do reply to group.

But IMHO it makes sense to reply to the list.

If not, forget it.
