No.

That's a service that I'm requesting, and the confirmation protects *me*
against forged subscriptions to mailing lists.  It is also a one-time cost
to pay for an ongoing stream of mail, whereas with individual
confirmations I have to keep confirming my mail to individuals I only mail
once.

I'm not making any assumptions.  My message spelled out in great detail
specifically what I was objecting to.  If you're using TMDA in some other
configuration, then I'm not objecting to that, am I?

I have encountered people with TMDA configured precisely along the lines
that I've previously described.  I don't confirm my mail to them.  It's a
waste of my time, which I consider valuable and refuse to allow be wasted
in that fashion.
